WaterWays & Means Forum: 06/24/09
This forum centers on all things water. The forum's goal is to become the point of
convergence for activities related to the water sector with a focus on new venture
creation and water sustainability issues. The proposal is to kick start a larger
water initiative in the fall with a foundational summer event. The purpose of the summer
event is to foster a lively discussion that intersects academia, government, and the private sector.
Knowledge gleaned form the summer event will be folded into a larger conference scheduled for the fall of 2009.
The summer event will be held at Goodwin Proctor on June 24th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

IERG Boston Chapter - CleanTech Panel: 04/27/09
A panel of experts from the CleanTech industry in Massachusetts was moderated
by Erin Ailworth from the Boston Globe, panel members fielded questions relevant to today's environment,
challenges, and opportunities in this sector. Discussion included the role of coal gasification as a green
house gas reduction tool, the availability of funding for mega-projects, international growth and competition,
and the timing of federal stimulus money.
